The 11th International Convention of SPIC MACAY, held at IIT Kharagpur from 25th to 31st May 2026 and dedicated to the birth centenary of Guru Kelucharan Mohapatra, brought together over 1,500 delegates from more than 200 institutions across India and abroad. The convention began with a screening of The Making of the Mahatma and an interaction with National Award-winning actor Shri Rajit Kapur. Each day commenced with Hatha Yoga, Naad Yoga, Meditation, and Shramdaan, encouraging discipline and self-reflection among the participants. Delegates attended intensive workshops conducted by eminent gurus and experienced India's rich cultural diversity through Dastangoi, Chhau dances, Kabir Gayan, Ghussadi dance, Baul music, and several other folk and classical traditions. The event was further enriched by memorable performances from renowned artists such as Pandit Ulhas Kashalkar, Vidushi Sujata Mohapatra, Pandit Ronu Majumdar, Begum Parween Sultana, Vidushi S. Sowmya, and Shri Margi Madhu.
