A vibrant march past followed, showcasing discipline and team spirit. The oath-taking ceremony reaffirmed the values of fairness and sportsmanship. The choir’s rendition of the Takshila Gaan filled the gathering with pride. Mr. Roy’s motivating address and the Principal’s encouraging words set the tone for two days of spirited competition.

Both events witnessed commendable participation and skill. The first day concluded with teams qualifying for the semi-finals in both U-14 Girls and U-15 Boys hockey categories. The chess tournament followed the Swiss format, allowing players to compete across multiple rounds.

The second began with renewed energy and culminated in a grand closing ceremony. Coaches were felicitated for their dedication, and the presence of an international referee added distinction to the event. The Principal congratulated all participants for their perseverance and sportsmanship.

The girls’ team of DPS Pune bagged the winning trophy in hockey while in chess, it bagged the winning trophies in all the categories except one wherein they secured the runners up position. Outstanding players across both events were honoured for excellence.

The meet celebrated competitive spirit and camaraderie among all schools.
