The grand celebration of childhood, Jashn-e-Bachpan, was held with great energy and enthusiasm at Delhi Public School Pune on 13 and 14 February 2026. Students from Prep to Grade III lit up the stage with their vibrant performances. The campus was tastefully adorned for the occasion, and the elegant décor created a delightful and festive ambience. Each programme commenced with a warm welcome and the melodious Takshila Gaan, followed by graceful classical dance performances and the presentation of the School Report which highlighted the institution’s commitment to holistic development. The young learners of Pre-Nursery and Nursery charmed the audience with enchanting tales such as Jungle Book, Little Red Riding Hood, and The Hare and the Tortoise, beautifully conveying values of kindness, gratitude, and wise decision-making. On the same day, Grade III presented Katha Sagar, a spectacular confluence of stories reinforcing the virtues of humility, honesty, and the importance of common sense.

Grade II enthralled the audience with an engaging theatrical presentation based on Panchatantra and other moral tales, delivering meaningful messages of wisdom, foresight, teamwork, and integrity. The Preparatory students staged The Clever Chronicles: From East to West, bringing alive the wit and wisdom of Birbal and Tenali Raman. The fairy-tale theme of Grade I unfolded through lively renditions of Jack and the Beanstalk, The Magic Pot, and The Shoemaker and the Elves, offering a visually captivating experience. The grand finales, centred on the theme “Zero Waste,” brought all performers together in a powerful and inspiring message of responsible living and environmental consciousness. The Principal, Mrs. Amita Singh applauded the dedication and hard work of both students and teachers. The event left the audience with cherished memories.
