From 7 September 2026 to 10 September 2026, Delhi Public School, Pune transformed into a vibrant sanctuary of learning as our youngest students—from Pre-Nursery to Preparatory—embarked on an enriching journey through the "My Safe World" program. Guided by the understanding that safety begins with awareness and grows through gentle practice, the children explored essential life skills across school, home, road, and emergency situations. The week unfolded through a rich tapestry of experiences: insightful assembly sessions with our school nurse, practical demonstrations by the HPE department, interactive teacher enactments, and an inspiring visit from local firefighters who demonstrated fire-safety equipment. Together, these activities taught our little ones to remain calm, follow instructions, and trust the guidance of caring adults whenever help is needed. 

Inside the classrooms and throughout our outdoor Safety Learning Zones, curiosity blossomed into lifelong habits through playful, hands-on discovery. Students actively engaged with dedicated road safety stations, fire awareness displays, and classroom emergency corners featuring first-aid boxes and visual drill charts. From taking daily safety pledges and sorting "Safe vs. Unsafe" picture cards to practising soft bandage wrapping during role-plays, every child learned that making safe choices is both an act of self-care and a kindness toward others. As our growing safety champions carry these meaningful lessons from the classroom into their homes, they step forward as confident explorers—ready to embrace the world with awareness, empathy, and care.
