On the occasion of the 79th Independence Day, the classes, Pre-Nursery to grade III of Delhi Public School Pune, celebrated “Amazing India” from August 11–14, 2025, through a vibrant series of activities designed to instil patriotism, cultural pride, and unity in diversity.Children enjoyed patriotic songs, storytelling on freedom fighters, and discussions about monuments. The Music Department created a festive ambience, while the Anokhi Pradarshani showcased student-made crafts like charkhas, tricolour kites, khadau, and defence force models.

A special assembly by Pre-Nursery to Prep featured songs, dances, and presentations on national symbols, while Grade I children highlighted their significance. The cultural exhibition displayed kiosks representing two states from each direction: Uttarakhand and Haryana from the North, Kerala and Andhra Pradesh from the South, Rajasthan and Goa from the West, and West Bengal and Sikkim from the East.  Grade II and III students enthusiastically presented traditions, folk culture, and unsung heroes.

Age-appropriate activities across the grades enriched the week. Students enjoyed patriotic songs and rhymes, tri-colour obstacle race, My Country, My Pride presentations, state culture displays, Independence Day quiz, and also danced to patriotic songs Furthermore, they made tri-colour flags, tricolour pops, and tri-colour sandwiches.
