Delhi Public School Pune was the second collaborative venture between Takshila Educational Society and Delhi Public Schools Society. The latter is one of the largest chains of K-12 schools in the world with over 150 schools in India and foreign shores. The first DPS School, DPS Mathura Road, was established in 1947 and since then has been providing meaningful education, to a large number of children, desirous of growing into educated & liberated human beings.

Takshila Educational Society was set up in 1997 with the explicit objective of providing education which implants a will and facility for learning; it believes in producing not learned but learning people.

DPS Pune opened its portals in 2003 and in barely six years it has come to be recognized as one of the leading K-12 educational institutions in India. The school believes in maximizing the capacity of each student and equips them to walk through the doors of opportunity. At the same time we groom our children to be global citizens with high regards for Indian culture and values.
